Rakshana Project

Access to quality education remains a problem for children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Their innate ability to acquire knowledge and develop academic skills remains latent due to insignificant cognitive and language stimuli they experience in their environment, especially during their early childhood. Supporting and nurturing children from this sector is pivotal.

We endeavour to support children who have low academic achievement due to their situation deprivation. One such project now we are into is the ‘Academic Skill Development Program’ and ‘Academic Support Program’. The former program is to aid children to develop language, reading, spelling, writing and math skills along with an adequate amount of support to develop cognitive, socio-emotional and value-based traits, in all, to impart a program for holistic development of children. The latter is to bridge the gap in learning by intertwining prerequisite academic skills with grade lessons.

Program at Rakshana Foundation:

One such program is conducted in a hybrid mode, blending online and offline classes. The hybrid approach enables us to cater to children through innovative pedagogical strategies.

Currently, we are supporting 26 children from classes 3 to 9 for their academic needs under the sponsorship of Kantar Analytics. Children are nurtured at Rakshana Foundation, Bangalore.
